I apologize...I'm late in getting this posted. Sometimes family and parish ministry encompass all but a few hours of sleep each day.

Have you ever heard the song When God Ran by Phillips, Craig and Dean? It is a beautiful song about how God receives us when we turn back to God. Every time I hear the song, I get chills. The parable of the Prodigal Son and Forgiving Father is probably one of Jesus' most famous stories. I think every person can relate to this story on some level. I've included several questions for the faith chat this week. Your family can choose to discuss one or all of the questions.

- With which character do you most relate in this story: The prodigal son, the forgiving father, the brother, the servants?
- Put yourself in the shoes of the son who returns to his father. How do you feel knowing that God will run to you and take you in His arms when you repent and turn back to Him?
